John Downing has been playing music professionally for nearly 20 years. He has experience playing in a multitude of settings and his vast repertoire of songs make him an ideal option for any event of any size or "vibe" that you are planning.

With an enormous mix of songs and styles from the 50's to today, John works to ensure that every person at your event connects with the entertainment. He specializes in acoustic versions of well known songs that go well in any setting.

For weddings, he's able to assist you with live music during your ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. However, whether you need music for your wedding, a company or business event, a family picnic, or your restaurant, winery, or brewery, this music is sure to fit the bill.  He can play instrumental only selections (without vocals) if the occasion requires, or, for more upbeat events he will spice up a similar repertoire with vocals that is sure to have you singing along!

John is a professional who will communicate well in planning, will show up on time, be well dressed and prepared and will sound and look great. He primarily works in the Raleigh/Durham area.
