FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
It depends! Pricing is subject to a number of factors including but not limited to the type of event, timing, distance required to travel, and the length of the performance.
A guideline for pricing can be found in the "Packages and Pricing" section of the website, but you can always send a personal message for a more customized quote.
WHAT IS THE BOOKING PROCESS LIKE?
It's really pretty simple. After you contact me, I'll reach out to you to initiate preliminary conversation about how I might best be able to serve you and your event. After that, I'll send you a google form in which I'll ask you to submit as much information as possible for your event (date, time, venue, length of the event, setlist requirements, specific song requests, etc.). Once I have this information, I'll reach back out to you to confirm details and supply you with a finalized quote. As we move closer to the event, I'll work to communicate as much as is needed to make sure things stay on track.
IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED FOR BOOKING?
Yes. In short, the calendar gets very full and deposits are necessary to ensure that bookings are secure. The normal deposit required is 50% of the total agreed upon sum.
WHEN WOULD THE FINAL BALANCE HAVE TO BE PAID BY?
After the 50% deposit has been made, final/full payment can be made any time leading up to or on the day of the event!
WHAT WOULD YOU NEED US TO PROVIDE?
All that it is needed is adequate power and a few square feet to set up. I will bring everything else including a sound system and all other equipment.
DO YOU TRAVEL ANYWHERE?
The short answer is yes, however, I work to limit my travel to within a few hours drive from my home base of Raleigh/Durham NC. If an event requires travel past that distance, there will be added costs.
DO YOU TAKE SONG REQUESTS?
Absolutely! My goal is to perform songs that make your event special to you! If you have specific requests I'll my best to accommodate. I love for all events to feel like I am just singing music with my friends!
CAN YOU SUPPLY BACKGROUND MUSIC INBETWEEN SETS?
Yes. If the venue is unable to provide music before, during or after live sets, I am able to play music from a computer that I always have available.
HOW LONG DO YOU NORMALLY PLAY FOR?
Standard sets are 2 x 45 minutes. Other common variations are 2 x 1 hour's and 3 x 40 minutes.  I'm happy to work with you and decide what is best for the event.
DO WE CHOOSE THE SETLIST?
It is entirely up to you, some couples like to choose a selection of songs from the song collection while others have enough on their plates organizing all sorts of things (i've been there!) and just leave it up to me to decide.
