John Downing has been playing music professionally for nearly 20 years. He has experience playing in a multitude of settings and his vast repertoire of songs make him an ideal option for any event of any size or "vibe" that you are planning.

With an enormous mix of songs and styles from the 50's to today, John works to ensure that every person at your event connects with the entertainment. He specializes in both acoustic versions of well known songs and "full band, live-looping" performances that go well in any setting.

When live-looping, by recording, repeating and layering various sounds in real time, John basically becomes a one-man band. Using the sounds of drum kits, percussion, guitars, bass, piano, organs, synthesizers, etc, John will build a complex song that sounds and feels like a full band.

For corporate events or private parties, John will work to ensure that he matches the "vibe" of whatever event you are planning. For weddings, he's able to assist you with live music during your ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception.

 

Whether you need music for your wedding, a company or business event, a family picnic, or your restaurant, winery, or brewery, this music is sure to fit the bill.  He can play instrumental only selections (without vocals) if the occasion requires, or, for more upbeat events he will spice up a similar repertoire with vocals and live-looping that is sure to have you singing along!
